It was a dog fight until the end, but no one could come out on top. The boys soccer team on September 29th tied Rocky River 2-2.
Buckeye’s Ryan Grauel scored both goals for Buckeye in the first half. At halftime it was 2-1 Buckeye. Head Coach Joe Serio said his team had a great first half.
The first goal for Rocky River was a penalty kick on Goalie Ryan Huber who had multiple saves on the night. At the end of the game, Coach Serio said his team played with a lot of heart and intensity. Serio believes Buckeye out-played Rocky River.
Striker Ryan Grauel said his teammates were a large part of his two goals and he “can’t do it without them.” Grauel also said that they played well. Cobb and Grauel both said that there is always room for improvement.
