Game Recap

The Buckeye 8th grade girls’ basketball team defeated Durling (Clearview) Middle School in the championship game of the 8th grade P.A.C. Tournament by a score of 36-23 and can now call themselves Patriot Athletic Conference Champions!!!!!

The Lady Bucks were led by:

Sydney Bell – 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals
Haylee Roach – 8 points, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks
Alyssa Beckett – 6 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 block
Jessica Girard – 4 points
Courtney Keeler – 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals
Alexa Atlasy – 2 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals
Makenzie Mesar – 2 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal
Madison Amburgey – 1 rebound
Natalie Huber – 1 rebound
Reagan McCourt – 1 steal
Riley Vickerts – 1 steal

The 8th grade team finishes the season with a record of 18-1 overall and 17-1 in the P.A.C. Coach Calame and all the 8th grade players would like to thank all of our families, friends, neighbors, fellow students, fellow coaches and awesome fans for all of their enthusiasm and support during the season. We couldn’t have done it without all of you!!!
